Information We Collect
Our apps are designed to respect your privacy.
We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information about you.
Our apps do not:
- require you to create an account or sign in;
- collect your name, email address, phone number, or other contact information;
- collect location data;
- collect usage analytics;
- use advertising identifiers or tracking technologies;
- contain advertising;
- share information with third parties for advertising, analytics, or marketing purposes.
Data Stored on Your Device
Our apps save their settings on your device so that it opens the way you left it. That is:
- your presets — the starting time and the yellow and red thresholds for each;
- which preset is currently selected;
- whether sounds are switched on;
- how many times the timer has been started, which is what decides when the app offers you the chance to rate it;
- whether the help button is still highlighted;
- which in-app purchase you own.
None of this identifies you, and none of it is sent to us. It stays on your device.
Your device’s own backup — Android Auto Backup, or an iCloud or computer backup on Apple devices — may include these settings so that they follow you to a new device. That backup belongs to your Google or Apple account and is governed by their privacy policies, not ours. We have no access to it.
Network Access
Our apps make no network requests of its own. It has no server, and there is nothing for it to send anywhere.
The app does include two components provided by the platform, which use the network on their own account:
- Purchases. The optional upgrade to five presets is handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store. Payment is between you and the store; we never see your payment details, and the app only ever learns whether the upgrade is owned.
- Rating prompt. After you have used the timer a number of times, the app may ask the store to display its own rating sheet. Whether you rate the app, and what you say, is between you and the store — nothing comes back to us.
On Android these are why the app declares the INTERNET and billing permissions. They are used for nothing else.
Third-Party Services
Our apps do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Children’s Privacy
Our apps do not knowingly collect personal information from children, or from any other user.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
