This is a desktop machine right? Sounds interesting. Which cpu and how much memory it's inside?

You write "can't afford a new one". that tells me that your budget must be below 1000 Euros. If I were to sell it I would definitely aim for a price around this because my MBP can be restored to 99% quite easily and originally it cost 2400 Euros. I can offer you my used MacMini for 300 Euros if all you need is a development machine.

So I need it a macbook to develop iphone applications. Can't afford a new one. So I have no idea what it is worth, but both partners should be satisfied with the deal. If you have already a deal with your partner, then it is ok and I am just to late.

How much do you offer including the new bottom case? (with/without it installed?)
So far I thought I'd give it to my business partner and have him install the new bottom so that he can work on a MacBook instead of the MacMini he has now. It is working perfectly, the only thing you notice when working with it is the upper left corner being bent up.
